About the wine
Vibrant and soft Sonoma Pinot
This silky red from a prime-time Pinot region spills over with flavors like ripe cherries, juicy wild berries and a touch of toasty oak.
Daryl went to multiple vineyards in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley to give his Pinot mouthfilling layers of flavor – then aged it in French oak for satiny-smooth richness.
Daryl made $800 bottles of Penfolds Grange in Australia, but now he’s making his dream wines in California wine country – thanks to you! Treat yourself by scooping up a few bottles of this Angel and critic favorite.
Best before
I love this wine for drinking now because of its vibrancy, youthfulness and softness. It will also be great in 5 years, and best consumed within 10 years.
Serving advice
No need to decant. Serve straight from the bottle and slightly chilled if it's a hot day.

I always enjoy white meat like pork with my Pinots. But being very soft without heavy tannins, it can be enjoyed with almost any food.

- Meet Daryl... a 35-year veteran of the wine biz, credited eight-times as Winemaker of the Year, named by Food & Wine Magazine as one of 11 visionaries to change the world of wine... and oh yes, he served up his wines at the Oscars and Emmys two years in a row! Safe to say, the man's accomplished.
- Working as the senior white and red winemaker at Penfolds, his 1986 Penfolds Grange was arguably one of the top 3 Granges ever made - 98 points from Spectator and Robert Parker. And now that he works for you, he loves showing off wines from Australia and his California home – Sonoma and Russian River Valley.
